Loose Strife

After finding the Zippy cartoon in Laura’s clippings, I dug up this old photo.

And here’s a photo of another strip that Laura gave me as a gift a few years ago. It’s hand-colored by the artist and features another bit of roadside americana — the tinman just down route 112 a few miles from here.

I admit to hesitating before uploading this one from our early married years. How could someone this cool put up with such a smirking joker?

I don’t know what this photo is doing in a folder with these other clippings, but that’s one cute 4 year old kid!
