I just picked up on this new idea of yours because I don’t check Loosestrife regularly anymore. This is such a great way to memorialize Laura. I completely agree with you that we always appreciated Laura’s view of things which really did come out with pictures and postcards, etc. This past summer Kate took a close-up picture of each of our eyes. Now I know where she probably got the idea! Kate does funky things that would never occur to me in a million years and I like to think that her “artistic aunt” continues to be her creativity muse. I know that I will really enjoy looking at these.
This site is dedicated to the memory of Laura and is now mostly an archive of her 15-month struggle with cancer as told by her husband David and other family. A brief background of her case is found in the About section. Family photos dating back five years can be found in the main photos section. There are two slideshow retrospectives of Laura throughout her life. A collaborative tribute effort is woefully incomplete and I encourage your help.
