Simple, exquisite, and Love-filled beauty, always shines through any darkness.

Dear Laura, David and children. You will be in my constant prayers and the prayers of the St. Leo’s Mother’s group (a very prayerfully powerful group of women!) I am so sorry to hear of this truly sad news, I remember Laura as a very bright and joyful person as I was growing up at St. Michaels and in our neighborhood! At times like these it is difficult to believe that God has a plan for you and your family in all of this – but He does! My friends and I will pray for your intentions – whatever they may be. Tears, Love and Blessings from all of us – Bea McMurrer (formerly Barry)
This site is dedicated to the memory of Laura and is now mostly an archive of her 15-month struggle with cancer as told by her husband David and other family. A brief background of her case is found in the About section. Family photos dating back five years can be found in the main photos section. There are two slideshow retrospectives of Laura throughout her life. A collaborative tribute effort is woefully incomplete and I encourage your help.
